He is part of a team of whisky enthusiasts known as Malt Maniacs—a community that initially gathered around the Malt Madness website way back in 1997. If you've ever scoured the internet searching for information about a rare whisky bottle, chances are you've come across the name Serge Valentin. This whisky world icon manages the Whiskyfun website, which retains a retro design reminiscent of the early days of the internet—and intends to keep it that way! Serge is well-known for his love of old-style whiskies and has primarily tasted such, rare vintage bottles that are hard to come by in the whisky world. He has a particular affinity for the Clynelish distillery, an affection he doesn't hide. To date, Serge has reviewed 19,000+ whiskies.
